Product Constraint Updates

Whiteboard and Flooring products are back online & ready to order

We are pleased to advise that products under these categories are now back online and available for purchase:

Supply constraints across Particleboard and MDF products

Due to a strong industry upturn in recent months, Laminex is experiencing some supply constraints across several Particleboard and MDF products. Laminex is currently running our plants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to satisfy this demand, however we are anticipating that supply may be constrained on the following products:

  • White Panels (Moisture Resistant and Standard)
  • Raw MDF Panels

We appreciate the impact this may have on your business and recognise that this is an industry wide problem for many suppliers. There are challenges locally and internationally in building higher stock volumes at short notice. To minimise the disruption to your business, we are moving to an allocation system that will manage supply in the fairest way possible. This will remain in place until stock levels are unconstrained.


Covid-19 Service Updates

NSW & ACT COVID LOCKDOWN – Easing of restrictions & COVID Safe Operations

Following on from the recent easing of lockdown restrictions in NSW and the ACT, we would like to re-enforce our commitment to providing a COVID Safe working environment for all our customers and staff.

Laminex will comply with government guidelines relating to COVID Safe operations, including vaccination.

We can confirm that in line with the latest guidelines:

  • Laminex staff and drivers who visit customer and project sites in NSW metro and regional areas will meet the required Vaccination status (fully vaccinated in Greater Sydney and ACT, minimum of 1st vaccination in Regional NSW)
  • Laminex has ensured any sub-contractors (including logistics staff) are aware of their responsibilities to remain compliment with COVID Safe practices.
  • Staff, Drivers and sub-contractors attending customer and project sites will check-in via on-site QR code systems when arriving and will carry proof of vaccination should you request to sight this.

Showrooms & Sales Visits

From Monday 18th October, the NSW & Canberra Showrooms will reopen and our Sales teams will begin to return to face to face visits. Our sales team will contact you first to confirm that a face to face visit is suitable before visiting your premises.

In line with government guidelines, and to maximise safety to our staff and customers, Laminex sales representatives will only visit customers who meet the required vaccination status. We will also continue to be available via email and phone for all customers.

VICTORIA COVID LOCKDOWN - Laminex Service Update

Inline with restrictions announced by the Victorian Government on the 5th of August 2021, there may be changes to your Laminex service. Updates for Victorian customers are as follows:

  • Manufacturing and deliveries will continue as usual, with the Melbourne Distribution Centre continuing to service all areas.
  • The Tullamarine showroom will be temporarily closed.
  • Merchandisers are not on the road at present, for sample orders please order via the website.
  • Our Sales team are available to assist by phone and email.
  • Our eCommerce platform is available as normal to meet most of your order placement needs.

QLD COVID LOCKDOWN - Laminex Service Update

Inline with restrictions announced by the Queensland Government on the 1st of August 2021, there may be changes to your Laminex service. Updates for Queensland customers are as follows:

  • Manufacturing and deliveries will continue as usual, with the Distribution Centre continuing to service all areas.
  • Our Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane showrooms will be temporarily closed.
  • Merchandisers are not on the road at present, for sample orders please order via the website.
  • Our Sales team are available to assist by phone and email.
  • Our eCommerce platform is available as normal to meet most of your order placement needs.
