Laminex to become the exclusive distributor of HI-MACS® Acrylic Solid Surface in Australia.

 

As Australia’s leading supplier of interior surfaces, Laminex Australia is thrilled to announce a new partnership with LG Hausys. Further expanding our already extensive portfolio of prestigious brands, Laminex will become the exclusive distributor of HI-MACS Acrylic Solid Surfaces in Australia.

 

For almost 25 years, global Solid Surface leader HI-MACS has been creating state of the art surfaces that have been used by leading Architects in commercial and residential applications worldwide. Combining acrylic, minerals and natural pigments, HI-MACS is a smooth, non-porous, thermoformable and visually seamless surface.

Boasting an extensive range of qualities, HI-MACS provide a silica free solution, emits low VOC’s contributing to better indoor air quality and contains post-industrial recycled content.

“The acquisition is a welcomed addition to the portfolio,” says Laminex Executive General Manager, Justin Burgess.

 “We are pleased to add HI-MACS to the ever-evolving Laminex Australia product offering. The range offers a stunning collection of surfaces that would complement any home or commercial space”.

Laminex will stock 66 HI-MACS colours, including 36 new colours not previously available in Australia. A palette has been curated for the Australian market and is available in a much wider variety of sizes and thicknesses than has previously been available.

Laminex will commence selling HI-MACS from December 2019, and from 1st January 2020, Laminex will be the exclusive authorised distributor of HI-MACS in Australia.
