Laminex Colour Collection 2024

Every year, Laminex adds to and improves the Colour Collection. Much like our manufacturing processes and production techniques, constant attention is paid to our colour range to keep Laminex fresh, current and above all else, to avoid obsolescence or constant need for replacement. Put shortly, Laminex is about longevity.

“It’s about creating designs that avoid fads and which are intended for long-term use,” says Neil Sookee, Product Design Manager, Laminex.

The development of the Laminex Colour Collection is evolutionary, building on 90 years of experience and progression that enables customers and clients to create complementary palettes and sympathetic designs.

A crafted range of colours has expanded the Laminex offering via warm and neutral, organic tones, through to cool, ephemeral colours that despite their fleeting nature remain distinctly Australian and reminiscent of our everchanging environment.

To create the Colour Collection for 2024, all corners of Australia were explored and surveyed. From the soft pink sand of Rottnest Island that stirred our imagination to form Rocky Bay, to the deeply idiosyncratic Platypus, that inspired a new earth-toned chocolate brown of the same name. The soft green, found in a freshly formed gumnut will find its home with natural and timber tones, while the cool, tranquil blue of Macedon Mist is no less memorable for its momentary nature. Colour Collection 2024 offers a range of colours ready to be built on and embellished, pared back and positioned into countless combinations and designs.

Just as the Colour Collection is developed and improved upon, Laminex product quality and performance is constantly evolving. We are committed to the endless pursuit of quality using responsible production that considers the important aspects of environmental and social sustainability as essential. Approaches and attitudes are always changing, but Laminex has settled on this; good design is always important – and along with it, good design decisions matter. Because when it comes to longevity and sustainability, making the choice that lasts makes the biggest impact.
